The winners of the first Spring 2013 Giveaway were announced.

The second Spring Giveaway heats things up, with the latest Mac mini, GoPro HERO3 Black and the latest iPod touch all ready to go out to our top members. Ten other members will receive a Fitbit One Wireless Activity & Sleep Trackers.

  We'll give a Fitbit One Wireless Activity & Sleep Tracker to 10 lucky random members that have signed up with BargainEZ between April 16, 2013 00:00:00 PST and May 31, 2013 23:59:59 PST.

How to participate

The Spring Giveaway runs through May 31, 2013. The top 3 members as ranked on May 31, 2013 at 23:59:59 PST will be awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. 10 random members will be awarded 10 Fitbit One Wireless Activity & Sleep Trackers.

The top members will be ranked based on a point count dating from April 16, 2013, 00:00:00 PST. All points earned prior to this date will not be counted in the ranking. You can view the BargainEZ top members page to know where you rank for the current giveaway.

To improve your ranking and thus increase your chances, you must earn as many points as possible. Points are earned by sharing useful coupons, bargains, posts and making useful comments, thus engaging with the BargainEZ community is key to ranking well. Each time someone plusses your post or comment, you receive a point. You also receive points for various other actions, such as inviting friends that sign up with BargainEZ. Please read the updated fine print below as some rules have changed.

The fine print

The winners will be contacted through email within two business days to collect shipping information. Your gift will be shipped within 10 business days of obtaining your shipping address. BargainEZ will cover the shipping cost for shipping within the United States as well as internationally. You may be liable for customs tax in your country. Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery within the United States and 14-21 business days for international delivery. Not all prizes may function properly in all countries due to differences in voltage, cell phone networks, etc..

To qualify for the Fitbit One giveaway, you must have an active account with BargainEZ and you must have plussed and/or commented on at least 5 posts other than your own (posts include coupons, bargains or user posts). The random drawing for Fitbit One trackers will be determined by a computer program using a pseudo-randomness algorithm. The drawing will take place following the drawing for the top 3 winners. The winners of the top 3 prizes are not eligible for the random drawing and will not be included in this drawing. Closed or suspended accounts are not eligible for the drawing.

Winners of the giveaway must respond within 5 business days from the receipt of the congratulatory email and provide a full name and shipping address for the delivery of the prize to take place.

Engaging in any form of abusive practices in order to further your advantage in the giveaway may result in your account getting suspended and/or being excluded from the giveaway. Such abusive practices may include, but are not limited to: posting content of no value or of little value to our visitors; posting duplicate content; writing numerous short personal opinion pieces; copying another member's content; inaccurately flagging another member's content; sending invitations to bogus email addresses; repeatedly plussing your posts or comments from other accounts you operate; sharing a disproportionate number of coupons or bargains for a single merchant; sharing an excessive amount of Amazon Kindle books; sharing an excessive amount of Stream posts; sharing an excessive amount of posts from multiple IP addresses simultaneously.
