Trip Highlights
Marsciano market tour: Head to a local, bazaar-like market off the tourist path to stock up on Italian goods, including cheese, wine, clothes, and shoes.
Hands-on cooking classes: Throughout the seven-day stay, a chef will teach you how to craft antipasti dishes, pizza dough from scratch, chocolate salami, gnocchi, peaked meringues, Norcina sauce, and tiramisu. All meals are also included.
Quad bike excursion: Zoom through the Umbrian countryside on the back of a four-wheeler during this two-hour guided tour, which wends past nearby vineyards and orchards.
Olive oil and winery tour: The group stops by the medieval-era Hamlet of Montecastello, home to some of the world’s most-renowned varieties of olive oils. You’ll watch the step-by-step process of converting olives into olive oil before touring the vineyard and sampling wine and cheese.
