With jewelry designer Emily Kaniasty as their guide, up to 10 pupils delve into the basics of designing pieces at a two-hour class held Thursdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m. Students sip libations and sort through bead packages, prebundled with crimps, one toggle, and wire. Using the store’s tools, they craft their own accessory and go home with written and pictured instructions so they can do so again.
